    Whats broken?

    Just wonderin what has broken on your Ex?
    I know i used to have alot of problems with my 300ex, but my 400ex is still workin great!
    What have you guys broken.

    name it ive broke it on my 250x. right now i had ANOTHER valve drop and shattered my piston. i want 2 stroke :'(

    You do know a 2 stroke is even more maintenance than a 4 stroke right?

    where do you guys get that....i think its so close to being about the same...lol

    and when its time for a rebuild its easy...and fairlly cheap.

    The wear on both 2 strokes and 4 strokes is the same but maintaining everytime u ride is where the 2 stroke wins,i been riding 2 strokes all my life till i got my 400 and its like it fixes it self,

    -front exhaust mount tab...DMC pipe
    -front finder....towed @ 75mph & 10mph head wind for 28 hours
    -tool kit...cut infront of buddy on a Raptor and he ran me over
    -front bumper....tried to weelie front end onto trailer
    -clutch cable...mis-aligned clutch perch
    -rear tire...piece of knife blade along trail:grr

    i think that about covers it...
    'ot 1 400ex
    ...MX ready

    ...yeah, its pretty fast
    '98 GTP
    ...4 door sleeper
    '95 Ranger
    ...still doin tha duty

    I've abused my 400 since it was bought almost 2 years ago. So far I've had the following problems:

    • slightly bent DG nerf bar (from jumping)
    • blown front shocks (from jumping)
    • bent durablue axle (from hitting a tree)
    • bent DG 6 pack rack (same tree - it was big)
    • pulls to the side when cat walking - faulty RAZR tire
    • Broken WB silencer - replaced
    • Sputtering - problem resolved itself the next day ?!
    • ran out of gas a few times
    • lost keys

    my 400ex has given me a lot of problems but that is just how i ride not the quad
