    Newbie here

    I was thining about getting either a 400ex or a z400. I have

never owned a sport quad before and i am 5'7 and 165 pounds. I

though that maybe one of these quads would help introduce me

to a sport. Since right now I own a honda rancher and have only

driven my friends 300ex and 250 blaster im not to familiar with a

sport. I was wondering which one i should get and what

upgrades i should make to it after i get it. Thanks

Well, everyone will have their own opinions on which one of those two to get. I would personally get the Z400 if i HAD to, just because it has the reverse option. I got a chance to ride it, and it felt real comfortable and quick too. Welcome to this great site, youll soon be addicted...Good Luck!

yea, if your lookin for quick power from easy mods get the Z400. but if your lookin for amazing power over time, get the 400EX. 400EX= Pipe, carb, 440 kit etc

with your experience a box stock 400 or Z would be fine. You won't need mods anytime soon. Enjoy whatever you get.
