    Quad width

I am curious obviously the wider the more stable but stock bikes are always wider in the back rather than the front as in tire width why is that is there any advantages also i see many bikes that have a arms and new axles but alot of times the front is wider then im curious as to what differences does it make and whats the best set up a arms than axle, wider front end or equal?
