What do i need to make my 250 XC ready?Also an estimate on how much it will cost.

hand gaurds
good bumper
a-arm gaurds
skid plates
nerfs
deep lugged tire (razr2 or holeshot gncc)
new exhaust
air cleaner
outerwear

thats pretty much it (lol) that will be somewhere around $2,000

I got it to come around $1200 with out tax so ya did will probly be up there.

It will would also be nice to have a Jet kit.

i believe moose racing makes a kit with k&n filter and jets and special grease and junk for like $52, but the k&n filter isnt worth it a uni filter is just as good.

no no no heres wut i started with

razr 2 tires all around
cycra handguards
full body skid plate
swingarm skid plate
and a bumper

now the bumber is not a must, this is a semi competitive set up to be competitive u need to spend alot of money but thats what i started with and i got third my first race

How come your signiture doesn't say your motors bored and stroked anymore?

All you really NEED to do to race xc is get some good tires and maybe some skidplates. But if you want to be competitive with the 250 against modded 300's and blasters, I would get tires, skids, bumper, handguards, nerfs, pipe, airfilter with lid on, shocks, handlebars....the list goes on and on.
