Dont know if you noticed it or not, but he said he was riding a 300, so i dont think a 28inch vampire would go good one it, unless he's planning on doing a 355 or 380 big bore anytime soon, and running it in first gear at that, with the big bore. at 43lbs a piece unmounted thats a bit much.
Vampires are a great tire, and i dont think you would be dissapointed in the, you'll just have to get a small size, or get skinny ones so u can spin them, if you just get the 9.5's. Get 25-26 inch combo. If you go 12.5 in the back, get 24-25 inch combo.
Outlaws are also the other top choice. Probably the better of the two, huge sidewas lugs and probably paddle you a bit more in the real souply stuff. Size recomendations would be the same.
Other than that i dont think any other tire is going to satisfy you, most other tires are really close in camparission to how they perform in mud.

SmokeyJhon is definately correct. those tires have sick treads and do great not only in mud and snow but is also a light all terrain tire which is great to have.
last post lol cant get good info off of ppl that run polaris's im not tryin to be mean but thats 800LB's dry weight to a real quad... a honda at 550 dry weight.. so yea umm u might just be better off betting mudbugs or gators just get 25's and you should be fine!
