your 250x is worth about 2,000 , that bike should be around 12-1300, i just sold a rm 167 i gurantee was more trick than that for 1500........ up here i have seen 96 rm, cr,yz,kx for 1500-2000

have you atleast ridden the thing yet, are you very good on 2 wheels, it's a WHOLE DIFFERENT world. And that thing will probably keep up with or pass banshees up competition hill, things are little light weight rockets

My dad's friend has one of the 02 yz250's and he's used to his banshee and the power from the yz still scares him, his banshee is piped with 4" swingarm and the yz if just piped, and his dad put it through a dyno and it read 57 hp to the rear wheel, i say if you can handle that kind of power on 2 wheels go for it, or just sell your bike and get whatever you want, don't just get the first thing you see or want, check on other things and do price checking and shop around, i have that problem alot

Yeah I like Honda 4 wheelers better than yamaha, but for bikes I think the yamaha is better.

On the N.A.D.A blue book thing that telles you how much they are worth ( www.nadaguides.com ) says that and 1987 is only woth 1,300 for good condition, i don't really know if it is true or not but a dealership in Lincoln Nebraska, star city motor sports if you have heard of it has one for 2000 and i am gonna use it to try to get them to come down. And then Atv motor sports polaris in omaha nebraska has a 92 250x in better shape for 1975. I f i were you i wouldn't trade caus ei liek fourwheelers but it is up to you.
