I think the 06 is 15.75", don't quote me. I KNOW the long travel Axis on mine is 17", but I also have a Houser link.

my 05 axis shock is 14.75 ,400ex shock is too long for a 450

alright, they must make an extention for it to be longeR? the bottom part that is..im putting this on a blaster and i didnt want it dropped haha, i just had a 400ex on it.

Which ones rear or front? The front 400ex shocks are 16.5" center of eye to center of eye. the 450R fronts are 16.75"Originally posted by Murph393

Im not sure on exact lengths of rear shocks, but the 450R one is shorter than the 400ex one.
