    lt250 v the 250r

    is there really eny differnce form the lt250 and the 250r. the lt250's go for a lot cheeper so are they crappy or do people just like the honda name?

    Yes, there is a pretty big difference. Mostly in the handling.

    the lt's dont have any rake (tilt) on the front a-arms and the trx does. i would assume that the no rake front end would make for a much rougher ride the the trx. the lt is faster though

    the biggest difference is handleing. but there are some minor things like the lt has no stock frt. bumper(the frame is the bumper, or at least on early years), on the earlier models there is only a single reed on the reed valve instead of 2 like most bikes, the exhaust prot on the earlier years comes out of the cylinder at an angle to clear the straight up frame rail and on later year the motor has a reed valve w/2 reed on it instead of one, the frame rails in front of the motor are split apart so the exhaust port comes straight out, the chain adjuster sucks campaired to hondas. the frame dont just crack after some trail abuse they literally split in half(well a guy who i know, his did) i cant think of anymore right now i got the flu and im going to bed
