that depends nc_700r, are you bracket racing or just doing free runs? in bracket racing you would be correct, but I doubt your doing much of that. In free runs it is almost all about the machine, you see a faster machine would trump a less than perfect start or less than perfect shifting.

these runs were straight drags. 450r the rider races local tracks. 04 pred. raced mx when he was 8-16 yrs. he's now 30. 700r is an experienced rider.
My neighbor has 450r and claims to eat up 700r. i'm just waiting on my turn at them.
i did run against the 04' pred. it was a bad start for me i was less than 1 bike lenght.
-this was my 1st. race. this is my first sport quad. GOOD CHOICE OF BIKE. THE SUSPENTION AND HANDLING ARE GREAT!

P.S. most people that approch me ask why did you buy a polaris.

they will have to buy one there self to find out!

I have a KFX400 with some mods and I will personally say that I will drag race a 450 100 time before I waste my time against a preddy. My best friends brother has a Troy Lee and when we drag raced he pretty much kicked my D*$# in.

    thanks for the post z-rider86.
yea my buddies 04 pred. is the 50th anniversery edition. every one thinks he has it modified. but it's stock from the factory.
i'm pretty sure that the troy lee & the 50th from the factory have diff. sprockets, cermic headers and probly a few more things i'm not sure of. but it's fast!
