250ex vs 300ex compare and contrast Pros and Cons

Hey guys lets compare and contrast these bikes 250ex 06 - 07, 300ex preferably 07

the 250ex is a utility quad on sport steroids. it still has a shaft drive and an automatic clutch...although honda did add the sport clutch to it...the 300ex is a chain drive that is more sport oriented with better suspension and a manual clutch.

both are good bikes, but if i were to choose between either, i woud def. take the 300ex over the 250

i have the 06 honda 250ex and i think that it is a good starter quad,or if u want to learn how to use a clutch. i have been riding for about 6 years and befor i had this quad i had the honda 90, i feel that i need that i need more power already,i have not had this quad for a lond time. i just went riding yesterday and i was 5th gear wide open and still trying to shift up.
i dont like that u cant start it in gear to.
my bro has a 300ex and i rode it like 2 times i kinda like it (his clutch is going) but if i were to have a new quad i would not get a 300 or a 400 i would just NUT IT UP and get a 450!

well ofcoures il take the 300 over my 06250 butim kinda stuck wiht it for now but i just added a hmf full system and a uni filter and it woke it up alot it jettted for no lid and in drag races i can hang with my friends 300 if we race on dirt but once we street ride he pulss away by alot, it also has to do that im runing 20 inch razers in the rea so if i had the stock 22 inch size tire i would hang with him but no beat him on the street but if u add a rev box and maybe a port and polish wich isnt worht it on a 250 u can probly be side by side

o flyboy are u lookining for a hood on ur 250 cause me and mhcs are trying to get 10 people so that genx can make us hoods, but we need atleast10 people so that they can consider to manufacter them

this should be self explanatory

250ex- beginner quad for sport riders
300ex- intermediate quad for people that have the basics down yet dont need a 400 or 450, etc.

sorry but i am not looking for a hood for my 250 if i was going to have this quad around longer i would probably think about it. but the next quad i am getting SOON( that is a hint dad!!) will probably be a HONDA 450R!!!

yea i get u im also saving up for a 450r i might be getting a yfz with yoshi pipe and some other goodies cause the guy jst wants me to take over the payments
