wut modifications would i need to do to make a 660 rear shock fit my bike? i herd that they fit the 250s corredt me if im wrong

i think all you have to do is put a couple of washers on the top mount and find a place to put the rezzy. make sure that the shock is off of an '01 or it wont work

yea and i think u might have to get a bigger bolt (in diameter) so there is no play and that means u will have to make the holes in the bracket bigger with a bit

if you rode on one you would love it. they have a lot more travel and ride a lot smoother. a lot of people on here are putting 300ex rear shocks on their 250s and they say its a huge improvment. the 660 shock is so much better than the 300 shock, i should know because i put one on mine and i can ride harder and it doesnt bottom out, so my question is why arent people putting 660 shocks on their 250s?

I would love to have a raptor shock on mine and kind of wish I waited to find one. But at the time I was looking for shocks, there were NO 660 shocks whatsoever anywhere, and I got a killer deal on my 300 shock.

Yeah because if I remember right, I believe the shock rezzie is different on the '01's.
