    problems with choke

I have a 2000 Yamaha Blaster, it has been sitting for roughly 6 months or so, and it will not run unless the choke is out, it runs fine when the choke is out, but as soon as i press in the choke it seems to be cut off from the fuel... What can i do to fix this? I have already cleaned out the carb but that didnt seem to do it... any suggestions? thanks

could be a bad seal somewhere, or something is still clogging the carb somewhere....it doesn't take much

Carb is gummed up. Take it off and soak it in gas. Then make sure all the jets are clear. Make sure the float is working properly and that the needle seats well.
If that isnt it, then you have an airleak.
