the live coverage has been posted, and harlen is in TX or on a plane heading home. he had to cover this race and the mud nationals so im sure there was little time to write anything yet

We were there and the track was better than expected. It was a mess Saturday morning, but by noon it was in pretty good shape. It was pretty rough but all in all it was a great weekend for racing.

Natalie was out in front on the first moto and then something happend to his motor, at that point Byrd took over and no one could catch him. The real story is Chad W. though. Holly jesus he was FAST!!!!!! He flipped out on a corner in the first moto and that pushed him back to something like 8th or 9th and he came all the way back to 3rd.

In the second moto Chad W. was out in front big the entire time and just before the white flag his motor died as well. It was an odd site because Natalies motor f'd up again as well. So they were both setting on the side of the track just looking at each other with disgust on their face. Oh, and at that point Byrd took the win in the second moto as well.

That is about as much as I can remember.
