    What to do...

my lil bro has a raptor 80. it has a exhaust, filter and rear rims/tires.. were thinking of adding front rims and tires. everytime he lands the thing just bounces up and he bottoms out the shocks. we dont have money to upgrade to a bigger quad. any things we can add to make it better?

new front rims and tires can make it handle better but its not going to solve the bottoming out problem. there are shocks available to give sightly longer travel and a more comfortable ride but there gonna cost some $$. make sure the tires aren't over inflated. also for better handling try a set of 2" wheel spacers (ebay - Raptor 80) on front and back. have you added an over rev CDI. this gives it a little better accel and top end. You can also get more top end by replacing the rear tires with slightly larger ones. change the main jet from stock 76.3 to 80. check out raptor80racing.com. The raptor 80 is a great starter machine (very reliable with middle of the road performance after some upgrades) but its definitely not for advanced riding.

How old is he. It seems like if you can afford all of those upgrades youd be able to afford a 90 or somthing a little bigger.
