I don't think those are a good idea.

You can do a search for 400ex a-arms in this section and it will bring back a lot of info about this issue.

The search button is in the grey area at the top right of this site...I have no idea why is it so darn small but that is where it is.

They serve a purpose.. but IMHO the downfalls greatly outweigh the benefits.

You're going from a decent geometry to wide frame geometry. (there's a reason pro's would run narrow frame geometry on the front ends).

Your handling will suffer, especially in the rough stuff.

The better, fairly cheap, option is the old 400ex a-arms, shocks, and shock relocator solution.

    sweet, that's all thats needed?

I'd definitely like to put on better suspension, and I think 450r front and rear shocks would be good enuf.

SO, a 450r rear shock will bolt up with no problem, nothing needed??

and 450r front shocks just need the shock relocator??

    Thanks guys!

We are running Burgard +2 400ex arms, a JB Racing shock relocator and had C&D Racing work a set of 450r shocks for this set up.

Avoid alot of the homemade brackets/relocators on ebay.

You will need 400ex arms, the relocator bracket, 400ex spindles, calipers hubs rotors etc if you want full benefit from this set up
