    how much compression is a Wiseco 12.5:1

    i know the 400ex pistons are off because it came off the xr design but how much compression is there 12.5:1 compression piston. and im also wondering if i can run a je piston in my 440 sleeve i got with a wiseco piston?
    450r DRG POWER, HOUSER-RACING,OHLINS, AMSOIL, ENGINE-ICE, TAG-METALS, RENTHAL.

    To answer the original question, the 12.5:1 pistons usually end up right about 11:1 on the stock bore, but the 440 might be a little different.

    Yes, you can use a JE piston in a Wiseco sleeve. but you will probably need to go to the next bore size. I doubt the dimensions of your new JE piston will match exactly within 0.001 inch to your old Wiseco piston. The next bore size will give you a clean slate to set new clearances properly.
