Another great rider in the 90 Mod class that also was having a tuff day was Jesi Stracham. After suffering mechanical issues and getting a tow back to her pit, she re-entered the course trying to save the race and gain some points.

Riley checked in and headed off for another lap, and his father expressed that they may have a steering issue. After the race, it was discovered that the stem bushing bracket had come loose and allowed the stem to move a great deal. Thats a bad break for Riley, but I am positive he will be back upfront next round.

Cody came in after Riley and I stopped him for a splash of fuel, allowing a few positions to be lost. We did not know if he could make the entire race on a tank and felt it better to be safe then sorry. The DRR was doing well for being in stock trim.

Matthew Close was riding well, and man his Kasea rips! Close finished the day in the 15th position

Harris came across the checkers and secured the win!

One more lap and this could have been a different race. Ferraro was only 4 seconds off Harris at the end, and he was running with a broken exhaust! Steele Creek could be his race! Excellent riding Micheal!

Jesi Stracham's day just wasnt getting better, as she neared the checkers her quad quit again forcing her to push it across the line. I am sure she will be back in action at the next round, looking to redeem herself!

90 Limited 11-15 class winner Alex Semande gets a heck of a congradulatory rousing as he exits the track!

That wraps up our overview of the Youth action from this round. We had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again at the next round!

As for us, Cody is not sure what he wants to do or what he wants to race. You might just get to see my other son Ryan make his national debut at Steele Creek aboard the DRR!
