i'm lookin for a new one but kawi hasn't got my attention yet. that and first year quads seem to be not a great idea. good luck to all who buy. if they made it more mx ready i'd do some thinkin. isn't it great that all the people who get theirs free get them before the paying public.

Don't have one....but I saw this pre-production one at Glamis a couple days ago. I snapped this pic. It was being ridden by a Team Monster/Kawasaki employee (the dude in the vest).

I did talk to the guy but he was pretty tight lipped about how he got it, what he was doing out there with it, etc. When I spotted it I rode over (that's my ATC you can just barely see in the picture) and said I didn't think they were out yet. He said they're not. I asked how he got it and he just sort of shrugged his shoulders. His vest said Monster/Kawasaki and I asked if he worked for them--he said yes. And that's about as much as I could get out of him. The only details about the machine he revealed were that the rear wheels it had were not the same as the production bikes will have. The cuttout pattern on the inner strengthening ring was different.

I didn't really see it in action. We were at the sand drags but he wasn't racing it. Without paddles it wouldn't have meant much to see him running it anyway....

And yep, it had a full Pro-Circuit exhaust system. Beyond that and the rear wheels it appeared to be completely stock and (I assume) the same as production units.

yeah we'll be at the farm my sister has her 450r done. i will probably have to race hers. i parted mine out and waiting to get an ltr maybe.
