    300ex/400ex conversion

    what is needed to be done to use 400ex front a-arms and shocks?

    Elka, Sparks, LSR, Viper, AC, Douglas, Acerbis, OMF, Renthal, Legacy, Uni, Pro Design, Outerwear

    Shock relocator.
    400ex shocks
    400ex a-arms
    400ex tie rods.

    Brake lines are long enough.

    and if you want a really good setup get some 300ex spindles.

    I'm guessing you meant 400ex spindles instead of 300...
    400ex spindles will help correct the steering geometry.

    You should also use 400ex length shocks built for the application instead of stock 400 shocks or the front end conversion won't work to it's full potential. A steering stabilizer isn't a bad idea either.

    Most likely yes. The stock lines will work with stock length 400ex a arms but they would be a little short on +2 400ex arms. Some +2/+3 300ex lines would probably do the job. I know my +2 brake lines are much longer than they needed to be for +2 300ex a arms.
