    2006 Sportsman 500

    Hi,
I just bought a 2006 Sportsman 500 two weeks ago, today I noticed the back two brake lights were on while my girlfriend was the quad. I first thought the parking brake was on, but it wasn't. Do the brake lights stay on while the quad is on all the time, I thought they only came on when you applied the brakes, am I wrong on this?
    Thanks,

    Alan

Yes, the 'tailight' stays on all the time. The 'brake light' only comes on when the brake is applied.

    Thanks TravEX for the info.
Do you know how hard it is to install a winch on the quad?

The dealer put my winch and brushguard on.

You have to take most all of the body panels off and mount the switch and relay system back there by the seat and battery, run the switch up to the handlebars. I think most of the plugs are already there in the wiring harness, just gotta find em.
