Hey, give him a break! He is newish to the sport (or atleast maintaing his own machine). The gears that you needed to put that in was the front differential. You dont have one on your 300ex. The tranny is lubed by the engine oil. The only thing to keep an eye on is making sure your chain is lubed, you can loose around one horsepower to the wheels with an unlubed chain.
