    put on 300ex shock

Just got my rear shock on. It wasn't to hard after we found out what size washers we needed. I haven't been able to test it to much yet, because I can't go off of jumps (snow) But from what I can tell by just riding around is that it soaks up bumps a LOT better, and the whole quad is more stable. It lowers the ride hieght by about 2 inches on the softest preload setting. If you guys have any questions on installation just ask here.

Close up of the bottom mount. I had to put a couple small washers on each side, same with the top. I also had to drill the shock mounts slightly larger. I went from a 10 mm bolt to a 12 mm bolt. Thats about all the changes I had to make.

Here is the new shock off the quad. It's off an '07 300ex. You can tell it was BARELY used. I got it for 85 bucks off of ebay.

Another view of the 300ex shock. It makes the 250 handle better too because it lowers the back end slightly.

Thats all the pictures I have, if you have any questions or requests for certain angles of pictures, just ask.

I might do the front, still haven't decided. People that did do the front shocks said that you should get wheelspacers to go along with it, I don't know if I want to put that much money into it. But I definatly reccomend doing the back!
