    07 450r tye-rod question

    ok i finaly wrecked my new bike doing my first 30' double
    in doing so i bent my front tye-rod and my ? is
    are the 2005 and 2007 rods the same length????
    any help would be great

    NO, the 07 are differant. they are a inch wider then 05/06's

    measured length?

    What is the actual total length of stock 450R tie rods 05 and 07 (not including the tie rod ends)?

    The 07 tierods are close enough to works we stock both 05 and newer and they are only 1/8 inch difference

    If you have a vise, heat it up and bend it back. Thats what I did. And oneday you will get sick of them bending and just weld a pipe over them for reinforcement like how mine are

    i know a lot of people are conscience about weight for racing
    but has any one built a tye rod with DOM and if so how did it work?
