forman350 not runing right!

ok fellas, i got a freiend with a forman 350 its a 87 and it just pops when you start it and if you hit the gas it kills, im thinkin it the pet cock becuase the ltrs you have to chage and i think that this one has to be changed now since its a all the OME stuff and i t has a fuel pump and he replaced the filter so i dont know what it is, it runs like the choke is on wide open all the time but its not and we have cleaned the carb, and thoughts or ideas would greatly help me,

are you shure the choke is off? i have seen the plunger lookin thing sieze in were the choke is. and be careful when you put it back in cuz it doesnt like to go in i had to sand the one on my rancher

im pretty sure i have the choke off, it just idles really low and if you hit the gas it dies, and adjusting the idol screw doesnt do any thing from what i've ben told, its my buddys.

i'll talk to him about it and see that every thing was takein apart and the carb was put to gether the right way.

also if the air filter is blocked it will run rich. but id bet on the choke didnt go all the in theres a rubber o ring on the plunger and it sticks thats what happened to mine

ok, i dont really know whats the plunger. i havent worked on a forman carb, its my buddys do any of you have your carb apart can you post pics? thanks!

if your sitting on the atv its on the left side it has a plastic screw in top on it and a cable going inside it should be the only other cable besides the throttle cable on the carb unnscrew the plastic top and pull it out should be attached to the cableheres a pic of the carb exploded view its number 9 or go here
