300ex gusseted frame pics

I thought I would share these pics with you guy's.

If you look close you'll see where we used 16 gauge angle on the front uprights and 3/8 gussets in the corners.

I'll probably drill some holes in the two flat plates in the front to knock off a little weight.

I'll try to post some pics of our other frame and what happened to it with out gussets. It's not pretty.

Good lord that's the most gussetts I've ever seen on a frame. Hope you didn't make it too brittle. The frame has to have some room for movement. The bad part is after all that I didn't see a gussett on the footpeg mount area. It seems like that's one of the worse spots for cracking.

I have never seen a 300 break around the footpegs only at the top of the rear uprights where we have gusseted this frame. It may not be a bad idea to add a gusset in that area but ours never broke there.

This is why we may have gone a little overboard on this frame.
