He's probably talking about a flat slide carb,such as the fcr carb or a mikuni tmx and possibly a lectron,more than likely the fcr as its the most popular,look at any performance minded quad/mx bike and it'll have a fcr carb.It made a huge diffrerence on my 385ex.$$ well spent imo
