    250x with a 350x swing arm

Can anyone tell me if the 350x swinger will fit? IS it longer than the 250? if so, how much. What about the rear shock, will they intrchange? Has anyone done this mod?

Also, will 400ex a-arms fit on the 250x?

Yes the 350x swinger will fit,yes its longer than the 250x swinger, its at least 2inches longer. You'll need to run a few washers i think on the chain side about a 1/2inch stack worth to take up the slack. The 350x shock will work too.400ex a arms will also work as well,do a search this topic has been beat to death on here.

Many thanks for the info. Just wanted to know before I spent my money on something that might not work.

You have to use a 350x rear shock with the swing arm. its 1 3/4 inches longer. You can use a 350x axle to make it +2 in the rear. You need at least 10 good size washers. For a 85 you need a diffrent brake set up than a 86 one. if your looking to make a full mx quad you can make a 450r shock work but you have to cut the intake frame tubes. no frame intrgreaty damage will happen.

the 350x swingarm and shock do fit well. I'm selling off all my conversion parts. $250 plus shipping for 350x swinger with aluminum spacers to fit 250x frame. Also included is a durablue plus 2 axle with sprocket.

If you get the hole bike you should use the motor to if its good. My whole rear end cost me around $185 but i bout 2 rear 350x shocks.$60 for the swing arm, $35 and $40 for the two rear shocks. i made a custom brake stop. i also have a lsr barring carrier in it i got for $50. So a hole bike for $250 is a good deal sence you have everything + more you can use.
