    300ex bottomend on 250x

okay, so i might be picking up a 250x soon and i'm tired of kicking. all of my past machines have been kickstart and i'm getting pretty lazy. can i ADD a 300ex starter to the 250x? like, the whole sidecase/starter/wiring and everything?

what all would i need to be able to do this, if it's possible that is. step by step would be sweet. lol

nevermind, i read up that it can't be done.

but i also read that you can drop a 300ex complete bottomend onto a 250x and it would pretty much be a 300ex motor (same stroke, electric, blah blah)

what all would need done for that?

Bottom end, CDI, Wiring Harness, & a Battery mount.

250x is very easy to kick over. You're gonna have more headaches with the e-start.

Kicking is a pain in the butt on a machine that isnt running real good only...from my experiances. But it does get to be annoying when it wont start. Right now on my 250 i can push the kickstarter half way down untill it gets a little harder to push and just stand on it and it starts up. Well...I made it sounds easy, you might have to do a little more than stand on it, but you never have to worry about electrical problems.

Kickstarts suck when it doesn't want to run
but when running good 1 small kick will get the job done. No big deal when it cranks 1st kick.

Oh yea. My freinds 300ex hasnt had a problem yet, but the 400ex's and warriors often make us wait for them when they have electrical problems.
