    DirtWheels 600EX

    WHat chassis did dirtwheels use to build this quad from? Anyone know the machine I'm talking about? They took a 250x/300ex frame and put a XR600 motor in it.

    Anyone have details or pics of what they used, how they did it? A scan of the mag article would be sweet!

    Good lord, that was a long time ago. About 1998, was it?

    My affinity for useless knowledge recalls that it was a 300EX based Laeger's frame. It may have been a narrow front but I don't recall it being a T-pin. I believe it was an almost total aftermarket build.

    Sorry, no pack-ratting of old magazines to go along with the memory.
