    my bro bent the axle in his 250ex

    where can i get a new one for under 300 bucks?

    It was either planet honda or service honda I got for $90. That is stock of course. Otherwise Durablue makes them for about 300 I think.

    to take out the axle what do you have to do? my friend told me you just take the top off the differential rip out the gears and then the axle just pops out

    dude are bike(250ex)does not have a differantial, if it did we would have to buy axels that come in 2 peices and you dont have to we have a straight axel like everyother bike the only reason we have that like drum think in the back is fot the drum brake.all u need to do is loosen the locknut and take of one wheel hub and it should slip right out

    To take off the axle, you have to take the hubs off, then take off the axle lock nuts, then take out all the the brake shoes. Then it should slide right out. Done it on more than one occasion.

    excuse my ignorance but i never broke it and never tore it apart so tell me how the rear end works w/o a differential or a sprocket

    yo calm down i did not say in any way shape or form that you are ignorant, i thought the same thing when i first got my bike so i don tknow why you have such an attitude when i was just trying to help.o and i havent taken out a axel on my bike but i have help a friend befor so i guees i could say something that would help you out but i wont couse someone elso probly knows more then me

    it's easy, but time-consuming. I'm on my 3rd axle.

    remove wheels
    remove hubs
    remove rear brake assembly

    do it yourself, it is not all that hard if you take your time.
