Crack in side cover on a 400EX help!

Allright, welp I got my engine back from N Motion today and as I was taking it out of the container, I noticed a small crack about half an inch long caused by a dent on the left side cover. Now this is the alternator side right? So I dont want to get a new side case or whatever, so I was thinking of a really high temp polymer epoxy thing, since that side isnt pumping out oil, i figured a little of the epoxy would help just keep it sealed. Anyways any input would help, I figured some retard UPS dickhead droped it or something.

Was it insured? I imagine it was--somthing that heavy and expensive. File a claim with UPS.

Do you think it messed up the alternator? Im only 15 and am not really capable of that stuff. ANyways if the Alternator wasnt messed up do you think like a high temp epoxy wuld be good?
