The hybrid rebuild, my winter project.

Its time again to rip everything apart and start from scratch with new powdercoat, new parts, and more shiney *****. This year went pretty smooth and the old girl held together for the most part so i guess she deserves it.

Started taking her apart, ran into a BIIIGG snag with the swingarm bolt seizing with the spacers, so we had to cut that out, other than that the fell right apart.

Heres a couple of pics from the year.

..and the ride most recently before she came apart.

    AND THE AFTERMATH!

Thats what's consuming my time for now, and taking up all the room in the garage. This week the head is bieng sent to Baldwin Motorsports. The frame is bieng welded (cracked radiator mount, and cracked subframe mount).

As for new parts I have gotten so far..

    Hinson Racing clutch basket
    Hinson Inner clutch hub
    Hinson Pressure Plate
    Billet Thumb Throttle
Larger oil tank with stainless lines and fittings
    Swingarm bolt, and bearing sleeves

    Parts on order..

    New piston & rings
    Gibson +2 Stem
    Gibson Dual Steering Stabelizers
    DFR custom seatcover
    Hinson clutch plates and fibers
    Fasstbars (hopefully)
    Chains and sprockets
    Front hipers
    Rear billet hubs
    Front wave rotors

and tons of powdercoating to be done!
