Do I have to take off the gas tank, fuel line etc in order to adjust the valves? Or can I adjust them without taking anything off?
THANKS

Yep, that tank is coming off if you want to adjust those valves. You will need a really smalle wrench to adjust them. Instead of spending the money on the "proper" tool to adjust the valves on the 300, I found that a deck screw that takes the square drive bit will fit perfect onto the adjuster, just put the screw into a pair of vise grips and use a wrench to loosen/tighted the lock nut. It should be a breeze.
