    Carb slide showing wear

what do I need to replace in my carb if the trottle is kinda stick when I APPLY throttle. THE TROTTLE IS NOT STICKING OPEN! It just hits a point (1/4 trottle) where the slide is hanging up. I know my cable is good and all of that. A real mechanic told me I had signs of wear on my slide. I did run a full mx race w/o an air filter b/c it broke off and I didn't realize it. can anyone give me some pointers..thanx

Take your carb off and clean it really really good, then reassemble and see if its still sticking. It probably has some grit in there causing it to hang up.
