ktm 450 sx/250r

i'd like to build a 250r-with the new ktm 450sx,elec.start motor. they are pretty wild looking! dont know if they are powerful compared to a yz450/crf450 motor? i read tough that ktm is working on a 450'sqf'. hopefully it will mainly be ktm parts and not polaris!

i was talking about the dohc 450sx. i might wait to see what the ktm 450 will be like, trade my ltr in or sell it.

You are talking about the 450SXF. It'll be awhile before you could even get your hands on one. I think all the American dealers are getting one each. The dirt bikers will be paying top prices for them. Unless you have an unlimited budget and a close relative who owns a dealership, it'll be almost impossible to get one for about two years. It's still hard to get a 250SXF and they were released over a year ago.

But while were dreaming, I'd love to have the new 505SXF engine in some frame of my own design.
