    BITD Vegas 300

Congratulations to Wayne Matlock and his crew for winning the BITD Vegas 300.

Also of note was the 2nd place finish of Josh Frederick and Tony baker aboard the very first Eric/Can-Am Renegade to compete in an off road race. It's their first podium and proof that their efforts are begining to pay off!

That was not a Renegade it is very heavy modified 800 Outlander with Renegade plastics on it. It may be the prototype for the Renegade but it started as Outlander.

Bill.....where do you think the Renegade came from?? Who did most of the R&D on the Outlander to create the Renegade?? Yes, it was your friends over at Epic. The changes on the Renegade and many on the Outlander came from the racing of the Outlander and part failures due to the races. That has already trickled down to the production units.

The suspension tweaks were done as a collaberation of Can-Am and Epic, so in actuality, what they have been racing is a modified Renegade with Outlander plastic, not the other way around...

And we all saw the article in DW about their Outlander so we know about the modifications.

So truthfully, it was a Renegade all along....

    BTW, Team Epic says hi!
