    Opinions: Bombardier Outlander 4X4 400

    What is your opinion on the Bombardier Outlander 400 4x4s? Are they good units? they seem cool, im just wondering incase i pick one up cheap for a flip.

    My mom has one. Fairly quick. Runs about 57MPH top speed. I took it mudding once and it did just as good as the Grizzly I was mudding with. Not a jumper though. Seems to have some lag when punched but not too bad.

    my dad had an 04 outlander 400 and i think it was kind of a dog but he bought two of the new outlander 800s and they beat most sport quads and go through alot

    Good quad, more power then most 500's. May still be in warranty too. Check that. Also check shifter and make sure it's not bent out of wack.

    my dad has an 06 outlander 400xt....it out pulls, goes through more mud and is just as fast or faster then my cousins 05 sportsman500....


    i love the bike for going through mud, i just dont like full auto machines....the 2upseat is soo comfortable too


    if i was going to buy one i'd definatly get the 650 or 800 though...they are BEASTS!!!

    the 400 is a little underpowered, shoot for the bigger motor. The ride is real nice but I hate the one handed breaking I find it to be dangerous on hills or in slipery conditions.

    They are pretty quick for only being a 400, but the 800 is where its at.. Those are rockets
