    Just curious about rougly how much putting a 426 motor into my ex would cost? Motor included.. im looking for more power and would like a one of a kind quad, but concerned about the $$ aspect...thanks

    Im putting a yz426 motor in a ex frame,300ex that is right now.Im waiting on the oil cooler,i just wanted to do something different,instead of the 400ex frame.
    426ex,lt250r banshee and kfx700 v force,yz250 mx bike

    for me it costed $270 to get the frame moded and the mounts made and the extention of the kicker.

    a radiator cost $50

    for me my motor costed 1300 with elec/header and pipe/carb/

    you can use your 400ex throtle.

    the stock oil tank works.

    muffler needs to be moded. I also had to shorten mine.

    The muffler has to be moded. I just twisted my muffler sideways and hose clamped it to the frame.

    My radiator is zip tied on.

    i added teh 400ex oil cooler for added cooling.

    Not bad 5 star...looks like a fun project, the machine looks awesome! So would you say it was worth it? Also any other little mods need to be made?
