4mm stoker, 209cc ported, head mods. built by SMS also. pretty close to my motor, but mine also is +.5mm on the bore, and has a hot rods crank instead of a stroked stock crank

hell yeah. I've been wondering when someone was gonna put up a blaster dyno. I have a 96 blaster with ported stock cylinder, .080 over bore, light flywheel, Ftz inframe pipe.etc etc.

What type of pipe and carb is the 4mm motor running?? I run Keihin 34 pj, but i'm considering a 35pwk or mikuni 35.5 from ftz.

a larger carb and a better pipe would open that motor up to a few more horses!!

yeah we know, these were customers quads, so the whole set up wasnt up to the builder. and as far as the carb, the bigger carb will loose as much on the bottom that it will gain on the top, and SMS would rather build a smooth motor to get out of the corners quicker

I have a 01 blaster built by trenga racing.38 mm airstryker lrd exhaust 6 degree keyway. It pulled 43.1 hp and 26 ft lbs torque. They use the head jug and intake off a cr 250.Had it dynoed at waynoka on dons dyno.He said that is the strongest blaster they have seen on the dyno. Will hang with banshees 450rs yfzs and 250rs that are not built too strong.Had to put +4 swingarm too keep it planted in the front.

sounds like a bad *** blaster...i alwasy wanted to build a blaster that can walk away from EXs raptors and banshees.....that would be sweet to have a blaster weghing about 320 pounds that is makin 40+ hp

The bad thing is it runs on 110 race gas & motul premix which is 16 dollars for 4 gallons and race gas is 7.25 a gallon. The kit cost me 3800.00 for all the porting and polishing and all the parts. So its not for everybody. But its fast and a handful.
