2006 WPSA - Final Round - Raceway Park - Englishtown, NJ - Rhino Highlights
To increase excitement on the WPSA tour, the staff decided to put on a Rhino exhibition at the final race of the series. With much help from their sponsors, many Rhino craft built machines were present to contend on the same track as the pro motocross riders.
This K & K Racing built Rhino sure attracted attention this weekend.
The MONSTER Engery sponsored Rhino surley looked the part of a racing Rhino. Watching the driver piolot it around the track, it looked like it rode the part of a racing rhino as well.
The H-Bomb Films crew geared up three riders to tackle the course in modded Rhinos. Dana Creech ran both the Pro Quad class as well as hoping in the Rhino shortly after his motos. Dana's attitude is one of the best in the pro line up. Dana is always having fun.
Sitting on the starting line, you can see how modified the Monster Engery rhino was compared the rest of the line up. The Monster Engery rhino had a much lower center of gravity, making its cornering capabilities superior.
With his air horn mounted and stero booming, Dana was ready to tear up the track. Well I guess it looks like he is ready to cruise down the strip and pick up some chicks...but who knows.
You would think with the width of these machines, there wouldn't be much passing. Well...your wrong...I think there was more battling and passing in this race than many of the quad races. The drivers were pretty even heading into the first corner.
