ive never actually rode in sand unless you want to count the creek riding and some small beaches....but no dunes...

how much play sand do you think id have to buy to get a good enough feel for it?

That is a pic of BUTTERCUP sand dunes. I think it is south of Glamis. Its all a part of ISDRA! That pic was taken from the top of the Hill that everyone races up at buttercup.
