    The frame is "beefy" because the oil resevoir is the side spars of the frame.

    And when the frame is bare, its VERY VERY light, in my opinion.

    How much do they weigh w/ subframe. My buddy has a Walsh 250r frame w/ subframe and it weighs 28lbs.. Felt pretty heavy to me but it is all gusseted by Walsh also..

    It is interesting that thier frames are not lighter than steel ones but since they knew they they had to stand up to many years of racing they built them incredibly strong . It takes a major crash to break them. And when you take the time to polish a Dale frame they really do look sweet. One nice thing about running the oil through the frame is on those cold winter days the frame makes a good handwarmer.

    My dad has a Cdale. We took the engine out and put all the upgrades in it. Yes there is alot of wires. We ended up pinching one. and had to fix it. Talk about a pain in the Arse
