Full MX BANSHEE - TOP OF THE LINE

Check out my full MX Banshee!

It's a bit dirty in most of the pics, sorry, it sure does shine when clean!

Also note; not all new parts are on for all pictures. The red LSR -1 swing arm, Fasst Flex bars and LSR +2+1 antivibe stem are new parts and not pictured in all photos.

This quad is now up for auction on ebay. Happy bidding!

That's not completely true. Banshees can be made to handle very well, and aftermarket frames take care of any lingering issues. The motors can also be made to perform very well, but everyone is not cut out to race a Banshee. It's takes a slightly twisted person to even build one, that I respect. Anyone can ride a four stroke, that's why I am shopping for one for my wife. I have a 75HP Banshee that will pull from right off idle to a top end four strokes could only pray for. The only thing keeping me from winning races is the pilot.

    Good luck with the sale.

    Hey guys,
I agree with lots that was said!
First off thanks for all the comments, I love this quad. I am selling cause I'm going to school in another province, Saskatchewan to be exact, and will have no time to ride for the next 2 full years. I'm doing a Master's degree and have to go to school throughout the summer. Second thing is there is no place to ride there. None of the tracks let AVT's on and there are no trails, all private land.

About building an MX Banshee. My honest opinion is that at any level of racing other that full pro, a person that is in major good shape can win on a Banshee that is done like mine. Yes I spent MAJOR dough do to it, but it handles right up there and better than most of them. I honestly am not trying to make any more power out of this and I'm more concered with taming the approximate 55 ponnies I have. I pull all holeshots, and if I don't, it was my error.

Yes, it takes a stronger quy to handle this quad and win. A two stroke will tire out a rider quicker than a four banger, theres no question about this. But the mods to this make it a hell of a lot easier and better than most 450' that are lacking these mods. I used to get arm pump, and bad. With just a little practice and the adition of the anti-vibe stem, Flex bars and steering stabilizer I honest to God don't get any arm pump anymore. When I moved the a-arms forward +1 and brought the axle up under my weight with the -1 swinger this quad was transformed into somthing that handles nothing like a Banshee. And no I'm not fighting the wheelie all the time, the traction is just amazing. It slips when it needs to slip and pulls when it needs to pull. And the turning radius is unreal. Before the -1 (which has about 3 rides) it used to squat in the corners and sometimes plow straight, now none of that, point and go. In the sand this this handles and pulls of the line better than my freinds +3 swinger. Putting the axel way out back will keep the fronts of the ground easier but your giving up precious traction... and cornering, to carve nice lines.

Anyways... yes I have a biased opinion and yes I'm trying to sell it, but all I'm saying is that I have proven to myself and many people on and off the track that a Banshee done to the nines like mine can with the right rider beat all 450's. Would it have been fun to build a full MX four banger?, for sure!!! I ride my freinds pretty much stock suspension YFZ and love the power, but I honestly hate the way it handles. Real tall and tippy and turns like crap with major body roll. I had a Banshee and built the absolute best Banshee I could build and had fun doing it!!! I built this thing more for the fun of building it, I love working in the garage.

    Love the comment...
It's takes a slightly twisted person to even build one, that I respect.
This is so true!!! It also takes a slightly twisted person to ride one, they're crazy fast. See photo below for determining my level of twistedness.

I hope I've answered most of the questions and commented on most comments. Hey, I'm not at all bashing four-strokes, they are great quads. I happened to have own a Two-stroke when I went raving mad and got addicted to creating a beast. Theres just nothing like hitting the power band on a two-stroke, holding on for dear life while charging through the roughest track or trail, all the while hearing that high reving engine scream through the twin Trinity's.

I will build another quad once I'm done school. Next time it will be a 250r, the revolutionary Honda that has brought our our great sport to where it is today. All I need is a frame and an engine and let the spending begin.

I fight forest fires all summer and have been to one MX race in which I won. Beating a host of 450's! Here's a pic!

    Again, that for the comments.
Broke, I agree with you whole heartedly with all that you said, thanks!
