Ford can't put out a truck with 400 HP and it only have 350, that's false advertisement. I watched a show in spike or speed or something that was talking about it, they hooked a car motor to the dyno and it ran exactly what the factory rated it at, ATVs is no exception, they need to be putting out the power they claim they have or they are false advertising their product.

I have never put my GPS on my pred, I should try it, I did it on my 300ex and got only 68 mph. I raced my friends stock predator on my 300ex and he blew by me like nothing.

    its like boat motors........
some rate it at the flywheel some at the prop.

im sure that new polaris is faster and better at everything.
thats why they are winning so many races.
looks like smiley is looking for another ride also.

seems funny the graph quotes "roll on"

    advertisements are usually half truths.

they said my 450r with hrc would push 50hp.
thats bs. its not there at all.

the new dirtwheels claims that a "slip-on" exhaust will give the new 07 yfz450 10 to 15 more hp.

Im just saying dont believe everything you read.

I wanted a new 450r after I got bored with my 300ex. I just got a to good of a deal on my predator. I never really knew a lot about them at the time, all I knew was it had more power then I would ever need. Chadhix let me ride one of his outlaws at his store, I honestly could not tell a whole lot of a difference in the way it road then my predator. Then I ran over a few logs and it was smooth.

Your buddies pred. blew by you because a 300 will no way in hell do 68. A 400 will just touch 68.
Let off for a second, and that's what place you'll come in.

its still too heavy at 400 pounds, maybe drag race it but mx ?
the extra 50 pounds is too much a disadvantage in a sport where you try to get every edge you can.
