You would go faster than a stock 400EX. It is a good investment. I don't know exactly what top speed, but I know it is tourqey. 300$ I think is a good deal. But youll need to get a cam and some valve springs if the kit does not include it for the best effect.

    I also want a 330 kit.
You would really beat a stock 400ex? thats pretty cool.
    If a stock 300ex raced a 400ex(i know the 400ex will win),
but by how much. (like a 100yard race)

so if i get the kit, i will tool allllll over my friends mojaves/stock 300ex/blasters/warrior.

how much would it be to get my local macanic to install it?

    thanks

I'm going to get mine from four stroke tech for $295.00 if you think I can beat my friend on his stock 400ex.

Just because you bump your engine's displacement up to 330 doesnt really mean you will beat a 400 or even be any faster. Alot of things come into play depending on how much u want to spend -- (cam, rockers, carb, oil cooler, head work, exhasut, copression ratio) Although if you do more than just boring it out you should be able to beat a stock 400.

To get a gain in power does this sound good?

    330kit.
    Rev box.
    k&N filter w/outerwear.
14t sprocket. (I have one, didnt install)

How much are valve springs and all that other good stuff?

    thanks

You can get a white brothers racing cam for 120 or so. ( but they don't last that long) and the valve springs are 150. The 330 kit is 300. So together you are looking at 600 or so. Then you got labor charges.
