long travel can be set up from any where between 18" shocks to 21" shocks. if you go longtravel up front do it on the back too.

ive seen some tt quads with long travel a-arms and 14" to 16" shocks too...

man you shouldnt just throw on any old length shocks, you should contact lonestar and ask them what shock length is the optimal length. And speakin' of LSR, Im 95% sure their LT A-arms use 19 inch length shocks.

What really needs to be done is to measure the full droop of your arms when mounted. You should never max out your ball joints or you will be looking for early failure of them. The best way is to call as mention here or if you have your arms and no shocks mount them up at normal ride height (you will need to use a jack or something to support your quad). Then after you set your caster and camber cyle the quad to the top of it's stroke and measure there. If you measure 19.25 then get a 19" shock so that you don't max out your ball joints everytime you get off the ground.

    Good luck.

well this is what i have been told from mark laeger as i run a protrax front end the shocks are 19.25 long and that length has not changed for a long time i could try to explain all the caster camber but it wont make a lick of sense

I have a T-pin as well, the shock length is 19.25. I'm interested in the new Fox Float Evols, but I think they only make them for the new thumpers. Anyone try the 19.5 evols on a T-pin with a Laeger's narrow front end frame?
