i just started convertin my ol 300 carb. since i have a 400 carb on. i ported the carb did the float bowl thing open the jets up an a couple other lil things. is their nething else i need to do? also how reliable is methanol.

Meth is a very reliable and god fuel. It burns very very clean and cool, BUT and I say BUT..... Don't mess with it unless you know exactly what you are doing. Meth is like 100 times more dangerous than gasoline. You could dump 5 gallons of meth on the ground and light it and you would never see a flame. you can't see meth burn at all. If you do see flames, then it is caused by something it caught on fire and it is burning. Point is, if yu spillit on yuorself and it lights. You'll be jumping around like a freak and burning to death and no one will even know you are on fire.

thanks for thetip im not spillin that ne how. its 40 bucks for 5 gallons an now im gonna be super careful.

yes, be careful, ive heard to many bad stories of things happenin to guys that dont know what their doin....
