June 17 Boyers, Pa. Wow what a hot one the temps reached 90+ no rain in site. Johnny G. your fired you didn’t do your rain dance early enough to bring rain lol. But all in all it was a good day for racing. The temps were hot and it was dusty you had to slow down in the open field sections because you just couldn’t see. The start grid was the old GNCC start but instead of starting on the flat the AWRCS crew started everyone up on the hill as you will see the pro’s didn’t have much of a run to the first corner. The track was tight and technical with many elevation changes, steep down hills, they weaved up and down the open hill side, and there were two water crossings, which the racers were glad to see so they could cool off a little from the heat. Speaking of heat Adam McGill was on fire this weekend. He got the hole shot and was gone he held the lead the hole race. Way to go Adam.
