    Kill Switch

how strict are they? i have a friend that wants to race his stock ute in an upcoming race but doesn't want to buy a kill switch and worry about wiring it up...

do they check everyones? can you tie a string to the key and have that as the kill switch?

when you go through tech inspection they will check the killswitch and in our series they check them on the line also..

as for the string to the key do you plan on turning the key to the off position before being ejected

Even if your not racing this is a good thing to have. Just suck it up and buy one.

more then just buying one is actually wireing it up. it isn't as easy on a ute as a sport quad because of all the extra wiring. its taken care of now.
