Joey Margueria with his Mercury wings blasted his way to the front past Caleb Jacobs to take the early lead, but by the end of the lap there was a three way battle for the lead between Joey Margueria, Scott Sleppy, and Travis Bell with Sleppy leading the way.

Josh Ross grabbed the Holeshot in the Novice Stock C Class with chaos breaking out behind him as Jason Kinder slide sideways on his YFZ450, and Erik Vickerd lost control of his Honda and went flying over the bars

Erik Vickerd would get back on his feet only to collapse back to the ground with dirt packed into his helmet, which ended his day of racing, and I hope he is OK because I haven’t heard.

The 16-21 C Class Start was just as crazy with over 30 racers coming through the first turn. Jon Horning would grab the Holeshot, but riders were going every which direction behind him.

The 22+ Class had even more riders with over 40 riders, which was the largest class of the day, and Robert Brancamp would grab the Holeshot, but Brad Allamon would make that pass by the second turn and take over the lead before heading into a small section of woods.

A bottleneck quickly formed as the over 40 riders tried to jam their way through the small section of woods before another high speed section of the fields.

With nearly 300 racers out on the 11 mile track, Traci Cecco was leading the way on her Alba Yamaha YFZ450 and Jeff Stoess had moved into second Overall passing both Angel Atwell and Stephanie Parton.

John Rowling had overcome his early problems and began to pressure Angel Atwell as he moved into 3rd Overall.
